MULTI-COMPONENT INJECTION MOULDING

IXEMER HAS MASTERED MULTI-MATERIAL INJECTION TECHNOLOGIES

ROTARY TABLE (ROTATION) :
Cavity rotation allowing the simultaneous injection of multiple materials. This technology enables complex component geometries, reduced cycle times and high moulding repeatability.

SLIDING CORE / CORE PULL (TRANSLATION) :
Cavity translation allowing the sequential injection of multiple materials within a single tool. This technology offers reduced tooling (mould) costs.

SHUT-OFF VALVE / SEQUENTIAL CORE :
The shut-off system enables the sequential injection of multiple materials within a single tool without opening the mould prior to completion. This technology offers reduced tooling costs and excellent chemical bonding between materials.

ROBOTIC TRANSFER :
Transfer of insert parts between cavities using a robot, allowing simultaneous overmoulding with a second material. This technology achieves cycle time reductions.

Fully equipped with robotised multi-component injection presses, IXEMER operates a machinery fleet tailored to deploying these various technologies.

All presses are fitted with rotary tables enabling simultaneous injection (for rotary moulds).
